The late morning was spend setting up the generator, then construction began. One beam constructed and levelled!
It was first hot day of the season. 27° by mid-afternoon, and the black flies I missed when I moved here a year ago, were reintroducing themselves. 😉
We planted two pear trees last spring. I can report that they survived the winter.
Lots of activity on the site today. The septic system is being covered and the screw piles installed.
The green line on the screw pile auger is a ring of LEDs. When it’s green, the pile is going in straight. Otherwise it would display red.
A few chocolate mint plants were acquired from Hayes Farm last spring. Healthy new growth is now spreading out in the planting area.
