After a bit of experimenting, I was able to get a photo of fireflies in the yard last night.

The current, and hopefully last version of the floor plans.

This year’s garden is a little larger, better protected from deer and has a proper gate.
In the ground and now growing: golden beets, turnips, carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, peas, beans, Brussels sprouts, peppers, corn, pumpkin, marigolds, nasturtiums, strawberry, chard, basil and rosemary.
The well and septic trenches were filled in last week, so after a few days of wet weather, I got back to construction. The rim joists were put into place and when diagonal measurement were taken, they were within a few millimeters. The floor is still square.🎉

Centering and screwing in place of the floor joists to the beams is underway.
While walking along the Mactaquac headpond this morning, there were many small dragonfies on the rocks and driftwood. It was moulting season for Lancet Clubtails.
Adult dragonflies live for two weeks on average.
