April Paddle

With the river open and a diminished wind, it was time to get out for a paddle. Still, there were a few ice sheets to skirt around.

Activity is picking up on the river. During the outing I saw three mallard pairs, a trio of geese, a distant flock of waterfowl, a bald eagle and this beaver.

Serene Fall Day

Lately it has been sunny, cool and windy in central New Brunswick. Today was much the same, except for the windy bit. So just after lunch I decided to go out for a ‘short’ jaunt on my paddle board. Today’s definition of cool was around 5ยบ, so I pulled on a neoprene suit and headed down to the river.
